Internet connectivity

When Objective Trapeze starts, it establishes outbound TLS-encrypted HTTPS (TCP port 443) connections to the following endpoints:

• trapezels.objective.com

• objectiveidpapacprod.auth.ap-southeast-2.amazoncognito.com

• cognito-idp.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com

• cognito-identity.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com

These connections are used to authenticate the user and verify that the application's licence is valid. These checks are mandatory and must succeed before Objective Trapeze can run.

Depending on your organisation's network security policies, you may need to allow outbound connections to these endpoints or configure Objective Trapeze to access them through an HTTPS proxy server.

Note:  Once Objective Trapeze has successfully performed a license check it enters a 30-day grace period allowing users to run Trapeze without internet connectivity during this time.

Proxy server configuration

By default, Objective Trapeze will automatically use Proxy Settings set via Windows Settings (Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy) or via the Proxy Auto-Config (PAC) and the Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Protocol (WPAD) standards.
